I don't think so. we are playing this "future" game for a year now. since then Intel ramped up a lot of topics and each quarter we are getting closer to their new generation. stock market is also about the future and if Intel gets it right they will eventually leapfrog ( again) the competition. I think Intel has a fair value between 50-60, as its reflects the real value and not like the competition a ridiculous P/e ratio...

wirecard was also oversold macd-wise and yet it kept on tumbling only further and further. And why because its just way more complex than just putting sales vs. buys. If you dont want to understand the reason and nature behind the sale off ,well there is nobody anymore that can help you. Considering the high expenses and dropping margins over the next 1-2 years, you should be still lucky of being able to sell your shares for over 50 bucks. IDM2 wont be able to help Intel. First of all they arent competitive enough thus prices must be lower and competition itself will drive the prices in general down, this will barely bring in any money in the end. And even if they make cash, it will never ever be able to put up with their old datacenter margins. Its far far far away from it. The faster you recognize that intel itself is transforming from selling stuff with high margins to stuff and services with way lower margins - and I am not even mentioning all the additional expenses they have to make to keep up with the competition etc etc - the less money you will loose. Its very simple math and some technical knowledge here and there. If the general market demand ever falls behind supply, it will be pretty much Intel that will get shaken. And as a last point on my agenda, its great that intel has a roadmap and agenda, but unfortunately nobody is guaranteeing you anything. So you are still paying a high price at 53-54 for a lot of uncertainity while at the same time its certain that intel expenses are skyrocketing but margins are plunging.

The nature of the sell of is that institutional funds want their money fast that's why they invest in amd and will sell it in 1 or 2 months. High expenses are there bcs of the restructuration of Intel they are building new fabs in order to increase sales and they will work with at least 100 companies. Competitiveness will come with Alder lake the 11k generation Pat had not the time to touch it, he started with 12th gen. They will be able to put higher margins on Datacenter sales if they become more competitive and energy efficient if they are not able it will stay the same and increase quantity of consumers. The general market of semiconductor will not be lower than supply almost all technological products depends on chips.

First of all I do not understand the reason of commenting negatively like a bot here. If you don't like the stock, just invest in something else. Why be miserable? Life is so short to spend it taking s7%! on foroum about stocks you don't like. Second, I am shareholder of AMD as well. Why some people think you have to have either or? This is not small party politics, this is investments.

Dont forget you can also make money shorting stocks, if the development of a stock is certainly negative over a time period - so negative facts are important too.If you consider yourself a normal nonhedging investor and not getting any return or even having a loss for your investment over the next 12 months, considering negative facts is just as important. Where do we get when you only hear what is to your like and not dislike - apart from sustaining a loss.A lot of people are just invested in Intel cuz of pseudo-sentiments and subjective probability than rather pure fact driven decisions. If you do that, Intel is simply currently no investment worth, and the most important word in this sentence is "currently".Come back end of Q2/2022, meanwhile you can make real money elsewhere. Period. The semiconductor business is going crazy everywhere else, and you know what, only one stock in the world does not profit from it.And by non profited I mean rather, the supercycle only prevented Intel from going not much more southwards than it would have already by itself. And if you keep on chewing on that ... good luck.

Regarding Jim Cramer and his comments. If you get the Intellingent Investor in the 2003 ed. by Jason Zweig, Jimmy was very coval in 2000 about shorting Berhshire. He was actually long in some companies that do not exist enymore. It is mentioned in the book in chapter 8.

What are you talking about? Do you understand the scale of things? Clearly you haven't checked the numbers and now you make fake accusations as well. Simply open the presentations and check. Intel will make 80 bn revenue this year and invest over 30 in building chip factories in the US. AMD barely makes 3.5 bn in sales and has a marely 600 million RnD budget. Do you understand the magnitude and lattitude here? This is almost 25+ times less than what Intel makes from sales and invests in development. If AMD makes 4.5 bn revenue next year that will be an almost 50% increase in sales and you will be jumping up and down of -how amazing that is-. Intel on the other hand by just hitting their yearly average will grow revenues by another 7-8 bn (as did every year for the last 10 years) - and which will be twice as much as AMDs total sales. But sure, -Intel is not growing sales said a Youtuber-. If Taiwan gets a storm all AMD and NVidia orders will be canceled until further. If China sabotages Taiwan all who relly solely on TSC will be f/ed. Do you understand that these companies are in the mercy of a tiny country under the soft belly of China? Do you see now the moat of Intel and why Intel is a Giant without a challenger in their game?

'Raising full-year 2021 guidance. Now expecting GAAP revenue of $77.6 billion and non-GAAP revenue of $73.5 billion' / Only the revised guidance is like the total sales of AMD this year, which is marely 3.5 bn, but still people here keep on believing AMD will 'eat' Intel... It's like saying Mexico Colla will challenge Coca Colla or Pepsi
