Can someone please explain why there is a discrepancy between VIX futures and VIX? VIX is up 5%, and VIX futures is up only 2%.

vix futures just moved to Aug.  So the futures vix price move is different from the vix underline.  Think of it as stock and options prices.  Does it make sense?

we take swing low price and root first that is 1.1507 we will not take before decimal we will just root 1507 that is  38.820 we add 2 to this then it becomes 40.820 then we will square this 40.820x40.820  = 1.1666
