Buy. If this is going to keep dropping may as well grind out the easy money. If it spikes upwards I have other protection in place.

VIX or VXXB? VXXB has drag due to contract rolling so is naturally biased downwards. As VIX drops, since the number gets smaller, the magnitude in drop increases. The drop from 20 to 19 is 5%, but the drop from 13 to 12 is 7.7%.

the vix will crash if stocks continue to trade flat under 2800. Shorts get squeezed because we are trading flat which pushes vix down. If we go over 2800 people will buy spx puts and spike the vix.

VVIX in the mid-high 70's with a 15 VIX. Last year with a 10 VIX it was still in the mid 80's. I find it a bit surprising the VVIX is this low, considering that comparison, or is the VIX "high" by comparison? Or no real relation?

I use the VIX to gauge the overall options market. This approach helps me decided my strategy. I will be flat today until all the news is over. Trade with extreme caution schedule unstable news reports in play.

descending wedge since early Jan. and it's about to close.  Risking my meager earnings this week on today's gravestone doji.  If it pops tomorrow, I'll likely take some or all profits.  If it drops, I'l look at Monday as a good opportunity.

Really looks ready for a pop.  And I don't think it's going to tie the record of eight consecutive drops on the weekly chart that was set in 1993
