        • Yes ofc they are loosing, but your painting it all black like they go bankrupt in a few weeks lol. They will however go through a lot of "pain" the next 1-2 years thus i would not buy intel now, the roller coaster just got started, just wait for the earning report/s... you'd make more money the next 6-9 months with NVDA or AMD than you will at 65 USD with INTC. But GL.

          • Simple-minded reasoning. AMD is in general very volatile with and without news. Apart from that a value stock losing 5% vs. a grow stock makes a considerable diff too. Either way what a stewpid comparison of yours lol.

        • I hope market is not pricing a earning better than forecast. Otherwise we might face a sharp crash on 22 april . People who held intel long enough know about earning day crash. I m scared but i guess i will keep holding because our new ceo put Intel on right path.

          • April 9, here is Intel at $67+ near at all time high. Touched $68+ breifly last year, and then within weeks was down almost in 1/2 to $43. I just sold the April 23rd 70 calls for over $1. Let's see what happens.

            • Hello what are your thoughts about Xeon Scalable 3rd gen?
              0
              • Considering its very short life spawn, its only a gap filler to present "anything" at all before sapphire rapids with chiplet design, new socket !! and pci5+ddr5 support comes on. Hence it is already dead before it came to life. Nobody will go for it when Sapphire rapids is around the corner. Plus the 40core model will have low yields thus making it rather just a paper launch to present anything at all against the competition temporary. Quote: "Intel just launched its first 10nm server CPUs in the form of the Ice Lake-SP lineup with up to forty cores, 64 PCIe lanes, and octa-channel DDR4-3200 memory support. Unfortunately, it’s too little, too late. Most reviewers called the new processors inadequate compared to the competition, with applications of AVX512 being very limited." www hardwaretimes com/intel-sapphire-rapids-sp-to-feature-up-to-56-and-44-core-cpus-w-tdp-of-350w-and-270w-respectively/

            • The last time Nvidia had a P/E ratio this low was in 2012. They're announcing plans to start producing their own chips starting with two factories and they're putting 20 billion into that. New engineer CEO which is always a good sign plus he's the one who put these plans in motion after just one month on the job. It's a bit of a gamble so do your own research but don't sleep on this one.

              • even if intel manages do good chips amd is ahead +3years , intel stock is cheap but at the same time expensive i wouldnt touch this , this year or next their revenues start to go up, amd revenues will only rise more because of datacenter market share and gpu,cpu market share increasing dramatically, amd market share will be ib 5years more than intel
                4
                • Intel are able to deliver, AMD not !  Don't forget this ;) It doesn't matter if you have the best product, when you are not able to deliver.  I am working in Production and know very well the customer mindset.

                  • If you want to buy, better wait for dips under 60 or even 55. Current PE (yes compared to other companies it's in general low, we alll do know that, BUT) compared to PEs in the past it's already taking a lot of its valuation ahead of the game. And since you can't really expect any sudden growth on the middle term here, the down side risk is substantial. The stock will certainly test the 60 or 55 mark within the next weeks or months. Especially depending on how good the competition is performing. And AMD is really making Intel bleed in the server business. Thanks to Pats 1year Hall Pass for AMD yesterday, there is no real improvement coming. You should remember that despite the current euphoria.
                    5
                    • Intel has nowhere to grow that is why its PE is low, right now it is high.

                    • If you are bullish on Intel and puzzled of the negative comments, just remember that everyone here comments out of personal interest. And when it comes to stocks it's very simple. People comment when they want the stock to go up, or down ;)
                      0
                      • Yes, all "negative" comments are always wrong and all "positive" comments are always right. Remember that!

                      • You don't understand my point. I never even stated I'm sure I'm right about Intel. All I'm saying your comment is just as biased as mine, but with opposite intention ;)
                        0
                      • Alexandru Pop Opposite intention? So you want to actively fool people, make them lose perspective and make them unaware of risks? Assuming intentions is a risky business.  It also seems I'm as biased about this particular issue as the market as a whole, when you look at the course reaction. 1) It was already priced in 2) Throwing in cash doesn't magically make problems go away 3) Intel will be behind TSMC for several years at minimum. That's not bias, it's hard cold facts. And some people clearly aren't making informed decisions when they ignore issues they don't like.

                          1
                        • Chris Tv There already are several reviews out about Rocket Lake, you might wanna check them out.
                          0
                      • Intel hasn’t performed in many years. Even if successful with new plan, positive outcome will take years.
                        3
                        • Alexandru Pop Also, shorting Intel doesn't have good risk/reward ratio because of the low P/E and relatively high stability. There are far better options for shorting out there. Less surprisingly, share of float shorted is only 1,5 %.
                          0
                        • ok, in that case you want the stock to go down so you can buy at low prices, or you have some other personal interest for hating Intel. what other explanation can there be for someone to keep posting their negative feelings all the time like you?
                          0
                        • Alexandru Pop Assuming intent and emotions aren't easy, especially through this forum. I'm a ******PC enthusiasts and I have owned Intel during the past year, and I own other semiconductors at the moment. AMAT being my biggest semicon investment, so you can judge by that how I feel about the 20 B news. ;) Also as a PC enthusiast more competition directly benefits me as a consumer and I have Intel CPU at the moment. I'm also smart enough to understand that a couple of messages in a scuffed forum have zero impact on the price of the stock. What I do hate is how oblivious some people are about the industry and what Intel's prospects are while also being at the highest point of Dunning-Kruger. Also some people don't understand even the basics of how to judge stocks value. People are going to have a bad time if they do investments with emotions while not being well informed.
