The point is that palladium will be no more use in car industry in 10 yrs. Most of car makers announced they would not produce all the internal combustuon vehicles from 2020 !!

I read below with great excitement the the exchange between J.Swipe, Susan H, and Dwain H. However, this discussion would be in my opinion not entirely complete without mentioning the role of CNY. Some one said below that DXY is tightly correlated with silver. I would kindly urge to have a glance at CNY/USD vs Silver charts for the past 8-9 months (???!!!). It’s fact.

Its partly what I meant by dxy is not exactly the dollar,, it represents mostly the euro vs dollar movements , hence cny and commodities movements may not track dxy 100% ,, and during market risk off gold /silver can rise WITH the dollar

With respect to the stochastics on the daily, we haven't had an "overbought" area once since June @ 17.23. At this moment, silver is NOT overbought again. That means the stoch. have not moved from yesterday position and silver went up 1.46%. Hhhmmm maybe a bullish sign there's more room for buyers? ;) YUP

It is overbought on the daily, unless you use some custom stochastics. If it were to have an embedded reading (at least three days above 80) it would be a very bullish sign. Not the case. See Ira Epsteins daily market updates for solid slow stochastics that give reliable signals. Losing a reading often means price and the 18 day moving average make a run for eachother.

John Swipe I agree with you. I swear 15 minutes after I wrote that, everything refreshed and and it went overbought. I'm curious myself about the "possibilities" with embedded stochastics. Lot's could happen ... anticipation has me up at night lol

No, I don't see that. It's cheap. Cheaper than it would've been without the trade war with China. If it resolves demand picks up for base metals, if that's what you mean. But I suspect you mean a move that happened a few times before and I don't see that happening. No WW III, no economic meltdown. If it happens there's plenty of time to get in and still have a better price than those that have been buying for the past 10 years.
