I fully understand the wishful thinking.
You know what is cray cray, is while they have all of you focusing on chasing the paper, they are buying up all the physical they can, look it up. Look at what the Central Banks and the smart money is doing and you will see they are not buying paper, that's for us commoners, they are buying physical Gold and Silver. This is your brain on paper, paper burns and is created out of nothing while they scoop up the real deal right under our noses.
Inflation has already kicked in and impacting everyone. Inflation generally drives up the price of silver as investors seek safe-haven assets to hedge against declining purchasing power of fiat currencies.
Want to know why silver is not specifically mined for? Why the majority of silver is a by product of other mining operations, because it has been too cheap to concentrate on it solely as a singular mining operation. What we are witnessing today is 50yrs of this corruption and unwillingness to let go of the commodity that has generated billions upon billions of paper profits. What they didn't count on was that we would use up the stockpiles of silver that existed, well the piper has to be paid eventually and that day has come. All the easy silver in the world has been taken and now we have to concentrate on reinvestment in strictly silver mines, the problem is it takes a lot of money and time to get a silver mine up and running. If you don't own physical silver you will one day look back on this time and think, what the hell was I thinking?
