It will take anyway at least four months until new drilling activity will increase production. Until year end it is far too late to do something with new production .

The 512 combined active U.S. rigs as of Friday compares with 255 rigs running in the year-ago period. Land drilling increased by eight units overall for the week, while one rig was added in inland waters. In the wake of Hurricane Ida, the Gulf of Mexico rig count continued to languish at only four rigs, a fraction of pre-storm levels. Five horizontal rigs were added domestically, along with three vertical rigs and one directional unit, according to BKR. The Canadian rig count finished the period 90 rigs ahead of its year-ago total of 64. Increase in production expected, due to higher rig count during the build season.

This weeks EIA NG build was exactly 83 bcf build as I predicted. To confirm it, check my former post. Next weeks forecast looks like 95 or 100 or 123. Pick the one you like.

celsius update, next four weeks vs 5 Yr Avg: +46 BCF. it was +56 just one week ego. It's a total of more than 100 bcf, if confirmed we will have just 130 bcf in storage less then average. shouldn't it be priced ?

The US economy was set to 3$ NG price.if that spikes to some 🐒 here think. The whole industry which use NG will collapse. The world economy is already entering into recession with this hight energy price. Just like back in the days when Arabs spike it, then world economy crashed and oil followed down to like 20 dollars per barrel for a while. Pls do spike this , i will be rich with heavy shorts on stocks.

Prices have risen so high in Europe that Ms. Dart estimates U.S. prices need to climb to $17 with no corresponding rise overseas before it becomes uneconomic to ship liquefied shale gas across the Atlantic. She recommends that gas consumers buy out-of-the-money call options, or options to pay more than current futures prices, to guard against price increases should this winter turn out colder than normal.

The number of rigs drilling for gas has been basically flat since spring despite much higher prices. When prices rose above $5 in 2014, there were more than three times as many rigs drilling gas wells as the 100 operating now, according to Baker Hughes Co.

That is the top reason prices keep going. Not inflation or Biden or Russia or banksters or manipulation. Producers don't have the credit and/or desire to drill

Ric Flair  there was a great article that hit the Dow Jones news wire this morning.  The article, also reflected here https://www.wsj.com/articles/natural-gas-prices-surge-and-winter-is-still-months-away-11631986861 had a really great fundamental bull case.  Meanwhile, everyone on Twitter is pointing to a weekly candle with a long wick.🤔

"Gas prices are largely beyond the Fed's control: The Fed's policies likely devalued the dollar, but the principal cause of expensive gas is increased global demand, says Charles Lane in The Washington Post." Something I found in an article.. It is one of 2015, but it's somewhat of the same situation

Option Option If the dollar is strong, it takes more money in weak currencies to buy dollars and then NG (for those who buy from outside the US). Already this could reduce purchases, at least in part. It is clear to everyone that too high a price of NG and oil affect inflation. Even the Fed, which has to keep it at 2%.

I don't think they will allow for an uncontrolled decline from the US. However, in my opinion, they will try to bring it back to 5.25 in the day to allow futures to be sold at a higher price. There should still be some longs to close and options for the October futures are up to 27.

This was the second week in a row the EIA storage miss was to the bearish side, suggesting the supply/demand balance isn’t as tight as previous weeks.  Little change in the overnight GFS and EC weather data, which also means they both held the loss of more than 10 CDDs since the start of the week.  This keeps the coming US pattern neutral/seasonal for the next 4-days, then quite bearish for the 5-15 day period as most of the US experiences perfect highs of 70s and 80s besides locally hotter 90s across the Southwest and cooler 60s over the N. Plains.
