Francisco Garcia  say, we had 5,80+ in February... I personally noticed that every single forecast became more bearish towards USD as soon as Biden got elected. You noticed it too, or do you think it's unrelated? I frankly don't get how the market accepts these prices. We're still  on major discount zone here.

Well, maybe a bit of sentiment was a part of it but mainly, in my opinion, the bearishness was indeed caused by the Covid. US was badly mishandling the crisis caused by the virus and people just thought Trump’s inheritance was too much for Biden to handle. But it looks as though despite all the political problems, US is recovering (as they always do…) and in any case Brazilian economy is being extremely badly handled. People never change… real should be 61/2-7 .. otherwise it may join Bermuda as one of the highest cost of living…. Hahaha

Francisco Garcia  I'm a greedy ****** I was going to liquidate at 5,45, but I actually see room upwards. My perspective is that this current USD price, without regulatory make up, is far beyond 6. Maybe 7. I know that we're going to get a sudden boost when all the right things happen at the same time. But predicting it is practically impossible.

Boban Augustinovic  I think 5,45 was a solid opportunity for September. Depending on what the final report on CPI goes like, you might get another chance at a spike. For now, rest assured that they'll dump dollars through minis like crazy, until it comes down where they kinda want it to be.

Francisco Garcia  hey Francisco! What I meant is that I felt reasonable. My first comment to Trilok here actually asked if he still thought 5,38 couldn't be broken on a short, because a few days ago I made it clear that I didn't agree with being 100% sure for a short top. I actually believe it's possible to escalate further, swaps and all, I just don't see it as a tendency. I seriously don't know where it's going. I try to be humble and catch a few perspective with you guys. I'm always paying attention to the things you day and I certainly extent my appreciation to you

Patrick de Oliveira I did not mean to critisize.. I know a good trader should buy and sell both but in the case of BRL the safest is to wait for a reasonable level and buy USD.. just need to do that a few times a year and you will nearly always make money.. last tine I posted next move. 5.49.. Trilok just laughed and gave me hand down… I still think is going higher sooner or later.. exporters are crying for it and if it werent for them Brazil wiykr bebin deep s… I have been long since 5.05 and keep hanging on to it despite the cost ..

That's like, 14k mini contracts. That's a daily breakfast for them. They're using overhedges  as an excuse. In fact, those contracts are just for Monday. I'm pretty sure they'll keep it up through the week, so way more than 700kk. That's child's play, considering they've I texted 18 billion USD so far, since January.

I was just reading it. MTST is a joke, Boulos is a despicable human being. The only reason for which Bolsonaro gets to be where he is is because the opposition manages to even more ignorant and evil. Just so you guys know, they, MTST accepts funding via CRA ( certificados de recebíveis do agronegócio). That is basically to say that they're are part of that market. They're probably angry because (imagine my sock) people just don't willingly give money to them. Anyway, good for those who like BRL depreciating. I'm still waiting 5,45 to pocket some.

Francisco Garcia  I'll drink to that! I'm not so sure what's next yet, but that's what I'm cheering for.  The interest rate is already flying high, but it seems to be losing its edge. Biroliro totally backtracked his belligerence and those CPI sissies are not going to recommend Impeach. We need some bad news to give us a push up. BTW: this is not rooting against Brazil. I'm not saying it to Francisco, but to any reader who might get angry because I expect BRL to depreciate. Actually, I want it to, because then we'll get to see its real price. If we have the real price, then we can engineer some sort of financial plan. Of course, on a pretend world, where people actually work for efficiency here in Brazil, rather spending every last effort to make it a burocratic living ***

Trilok Singh  you said it yourself it's not something that we can accurately predict with certainty a few posts ago. I don't believe for a second that 5,38 is a limit that cannot be broken, although I accept it as a reasonable prediction. I actually said that I don't know where it's going, although I'm waiting for when it goes up, which I'm sure it will. If it goes down,  I'll just keep holding. About being sideways, that's exactly what I meant in my previous post, talking about the "boring market" getting people to talk real estate. Sideways is boring AF.
