Peso is just stable for few dayu0027s, because banks intervened interest rate, but the economic is in very bad condition! Argentina has a big foreign debt in dollars, so all of control is in American hands!

Currencies of emerging economies are recovering. You can also check TRY and ZAR. These currencies are quite undervalued right now and there exists a perfect opportunity to buy. Especially TRY and ARS.

It can go a few cents above 40, no more than that. Central bank will sell reserves to keep it there, as they have been doing. Rumors say the IMF will expand the loan, which should stabilize the currency. If it go up (I think eventually it will) will be very quickly. Default is possible in the medium term.

dear colleges , as argentinian I hope things are going to go better , but not at the moment. The inflation would be around 45 % anually, and we are waitind the discussion in the parliament for the budget 2019. Politically risky at these moments to take position..I bought at 23 and 25 pesos/u$s and standing..

Let's take a look at the market of currency options and futures: average volatility over the last 90 days in EURUSD is about 7.7, while about 15 in the USDARS, in the dollar / ruble the value is already 18.5, USDZAR - 22, and in the pair dollar / Turkish lira - overwhelming 35! And this despite the fact that the index of volatility of the US stock market VIX is only 14.85!
