With crude prices still stagnant one cannot expect any rides in OXY stock. However the Summer driving season will soon bring the stock up. OXY has been part of my life since Armand Hammer. i own stock and believe in the company. Long term investments has always been my game. The last stock I bought has lost some value. True. Yet I still plan on investing what I sold from other non performing stocks that show no promise.

Earnings down 48% vs estimates. Now the fundamentals joined what have been obvious in the technical picture long ago. Oxy may become profitable in a few years but the for the next months there's no sign of anything that could break the bearish trend.

Oil is up over 2% so you would think that Oxy would follow. Buffet says the company is well run, but he doesn't plan to buy the company so the stock drops. Drama wins.

inflation is coming down, still holds a lot of debt which will take longer to pay down due to inflation coming down. Holders of stock are selling 10-20% of their positions. part of strategy.

OXY is in a coonsistent, unbroken downward channel since November. The upper limit was now reinforced, about time to find a new low.

A good day for OXY. Crude continues to rise. If OPEC decides to cut further output, it will be bad for the economy.

OXY continues to rise together with crude prices. OPEC has cut 500.000 bpd output. Obviously bad for inflation. OXY should settle at 65.50 by end of trading day.
