some many guys here look to price targets as a sure thing. Chip shortage will affect the companies top line. Listen to fundamentals not obscure price targets.

UK CMA throws up roadblock of Nvidia purchase of ARM citing security concerns. In reality CMA is cow-towing to communist China to block sale. No security concerns there! What a joke.

I would not consider this stock a discount at the current price level. A P/E of 90+? Would not be a problem if this would be in a high growth industry. But to significantly increase revenue they have to make gigantic investments as new factorys buying up other chip makers and so on. Low dividend, capped growth possibility (bacuse of the investment requirement). They should maintain a 30%is revenue growth YoY for the next 5 years for this price to even consider worth investing in NVIDIA. Just my personal opinion on the matter though.

Adrian Vanyi Why do you think they wanted to buy ARM for $40 billion? The chip industry is one of the most potential industries to grow.

RR GG I understand your arguments but just look at the valuation. Almost every chip maker is trading over P/E 50 -> that means that they would be massively overpaying for any aquisition aswell. The industry is one of the better long term plays but not with these kind of valuations. At most at P/E 50 and that is a big of a premium enough that it would still leave an aftertaste after buying in. 15 years in the past a P/E of 15 was considered mid/high. Just calculate a YoY 20% revenue increase, which is a remarkable feat to achieve would leave the PE after 5 years (2026) the company at current SP with a P/E of around 35. Still not very appealing. Growing industry i do not argue with that but I do like a growth company if im paying a premium for it if it delivers 40-60% YoY growth and i even pay 150 P/E for it if that seems sustainable -> at the lower end iof YoY 40% you would still end up sub P/E 30 ind 5 years.

Adrian Vanyi I totally agree.. But the current Market doesnt go with the usual trend anymore. So In my opinion this ticker is a good valuation @ 510-520 but again... we are in a MEME Market right now.. so just moving with the flow. doing some dollar cost averaging! Good luck to U all!

Yes it is unfortunately true that money flows in everywhere without a second thought what a company could/would be worth. Yes around 500 USD the SP would seem a more attractive buy. I do know the company but never been invested in NVIDIA, was making a quick check if it is worth my time or not, but let´s say i´ll leave it on my watchlist and do not build a position right now. I do see some more potential elswhere atm. but ofc this is just my personal opinion and action.
