Expect major resistance if price near $7.13 - $9.13 trading block; market makers will try to deny to prevent boat load of call options from being suddenly in the money
I share these perspectives as a cavaet. SNAP has been and may continue to be a very difficult trade - down side risk is limited imo but upside potential is capped due to predatory MM tactics coupled with complicit financial media that focused on and sensationalized negative aspects of the trade.
To be clear, the $7.13 - $9.13 trading block will not have even resistance. Will be extremely hard to break and hold over $8 due to massive call options recently sold at this be price. Meanwhile there is a bunch of “dead mone” littered between $7-9. Myself included
And even though the price has clearly been rising, the supression tactics have not eased at all. It’s only because recent institutional lit exchange buying that has overcome normally inscalable sell walls. If funds stop buying, price can roll over very fast
To Bob. Who? "they were upgraded by a sell side analyst."
To Simon. Thank you very much for the answer. You are a star in this forum
You’re welcome. Hope we’ll all be winners in 2027
What is going on? 36 weeks high, in pre market, today.... No news.. Sure is a funny stock to be a owner of
So to finally answer your question, institutional lit exchange block buy orders over past 3 weeks have pushed price from $5.25 to $6.25 against heavy Tier 1 market maker price suppression using massive synthetic shorts and dark pool off exchange trading.
This price trend higher will likely continue driven by institutional buying on if SNAP sticks the landing for earnings on Nov 4. If buying then strong enough to push spot price over $9.6, price suppression may turn into covering of approx 100M stubborn short shares
No news they were upgraded by a sell side analyst.

do you think $3.80 was the bottom. I do unless future ERs do not meet expectations.
Still over 50 day moving average what a setup for the bulls. Wall of worry is in place fed hike, high oil, and war. The market is ready to go vertical.
