Comment Guidelines

We encourage you to use comments to engage with users, share your perspective and ask questions of authors and each other. However, in order to maintain the high level of discourse we’ve all come to value and expect, please keep the following criteria in mind:

  • Enrich the conversation
  • Stay focused and on track. Only post material that’s relevant to the topic being discussed.
  • Be respectful. Even negative opinions can be framed positively and diplomatically.
  •  Use standard writing style. Include punctuation and upper and lower cases.
  • NOTE: Spam and/or promotional messages and links within a comment will be removed
  • Avoid profanity, slander or personal attacks directed at an author or another user.
  • Don’t Monopolize the Conversation. We appreciate passion and conviction, but we also believe strongly in giving everyone a chance to air their thoughts. Therefore, in addition to civil interaction, we expect commenters to offer their opinions succinctly and thoughtfully, but not so repeatedly that others are annoyed or offended. If we receive complaints about individuals who take over a thread or forum, we reserve the right to ban them from the site, without recourse.

No, dilution doesnt get fully priced in. Too many variables. Offering price, number of shares, etc. this wont turn out near as bad but look at hmny as an example. The mkt new several offerings had to happen but it tanked after each one. Its just numbers, not emotion. Snap doesnt have the cash to get to 2021 which is when they will break even supposedly

Dusty Owen Eh, I guess we will see the numbers the end of the month. I still think market value will maintain or even grow, even with slower guidance. Spectacles will surprise as well.

lol, another bozo trying to make meaningless short term calls. The recent movement is all a product of the general markets, not some hidden technical price action that you claim you're reading.  Real advice from a seasoned trader - Anything bought below $6 will prove gains through 2019.

It is called a gamble. Stay clear: "Never catch a falling knife!". There are many other opportunities out there every day.. Sticking with one losing company will bankrupt you.

every quarter snap and others release data. mainly revenues in the last 4 months, user growth, innovation, etc. next date for snap and others is february. exact date appears in this app, more details in the company website (investors section). if you check data released by snap in 2017-2018. you see snap is decreasing in users-growth but $$$ keeps growing. Moreover the negative numbers of the company are lowering every 4 months. So even of the whole mess created by the CEO $$$ is rising..even of users reaching a saturation point $$$ keeps rising. eventually a twist comes in February

I know it will grow in February. but 50% :/ doesn't make sense at all. you will see: $8 is a good target under the most favorable conditions... which might not happen at all. Snap may go to $5 before jumping in February + 20% (as much)

Well, welcome to the open market. Rational trading doesn't exist. I dont think you understand the power of a short cover lol. Obviously sentiment and risk appetite is extremely low, but when the tides change... they change quick.
