Comment Guidelines

We encourage you to use comments to engage with other users, share your perspective and ask questions of authors and each other. However, in order to maintain the high level of discourse we’ve all come to value and expect, please keep the following criteria in mind:

  •            Enrich the conversation, don’t trash it.

  •           Stay focused and on track. Only post material that’s relevant to the topic being discussed.

  •           Be respectful. Even negative opinions can be framed positively and diplomatically. Avoid profanity, slander or personal attacks directed at an author or another user. Racism, sexism and other forms of discrimination will not be tolerated.

  • Use standard writing style. Include punctuation and upper and lower cases. Comments that are written in all caps and contain excessive use of symbols will be removed.
  • NOTE: Spam and/or promotional messages and comments containing links will be removed. Phone numbers, email addresses, links to personal or business websites, Skype/Telegram/WhatsApp etc. addresses (including links to groups) will also be removed; self-promotional material or business-related solicitations or PR (ie, contact me for signals/advice etc.), and/or any other comment that contains personal contact specifcs or advertising will be removed as well. In addition, any of the above-mentioned violations may result in suspension of your account.
  • Doxxing. We do not allow any sharing of private or personal contact or other information about any individual or organization. This will result in immediate suspension of the commentor and his or her account.
  • Don’t monopolize the conversation. We appreciate passion and conviction, but we also strongly believe in giving everyone a chance to air their point of view. Therefore, in addition to civil interaction, we expect commenters to offer their opinions succinctly and thoughtfully, but not so repeatedly that others are annoyed or offended. If we receive complaints about individuals who take over a thread or forum, we reserve the right to ban them from the site, without recourse.
  • Only English comments will be allowed.

Nothing personal but Voltaire, Stalin and the worst of all forecaster Darwin still have many followers for reasons that are beyond the scope of a post. True scientists such as Pascal, Leibniz and of course Newton all actually built tremendous works which  still influence the masses of those in the know. Besides  a few more bumps this looks firmly set for the 1720 area and further out 1650 is of interest.

Traders are prepared to sell on any sort of suggestion that economic activity is better than expected because that gets them to believe the Fed will have no hesitancy to start tapering

Fed will not taper, by wed this might rise back to 1790 levels! or even 1800! fed will surely buy more time to announce tapering! all they trying do is maintaining a perfect balance just like thanos tried doing! tapering won't be possible before Dec 2021.

Policymakers also mapped out approaches to managing market strains and financial stability risks stemming from a technical default. They readily agreed to some measures, including expanding ongoing bond purchases to include defaulted Treasuries, lending against defaulted securities and through the Fed’s emergency lending window, and conducting repurchase operations to stabilize short-term financial markets.

Looks like u panicked ..anyways since u have exited .. wait and see 1745 is a good support if it holds can see a upward move from there or we may see a further test of 1680 .. this will take some time .. Since u were in Big for years you should have hedged your position.

Im long gold since 1180. However im getting tired of the roll now...costing me too much. A weekly candle close below 1750 and i lm thinking to close all and wait. As im not sure if 1670 will hold this time. If 1750 does hold tho... We have an inverse head and shoulders pattern on daily. Next week should tell what way this goes with the FED on Wednesday.

Also i do i believe that in the end gold will prevail. Fundamentally should be much higher... Tired of the manipulation too. Look at the flash crash.... Low volume most markets still closed when it happened and within 15mins. This has been happening since we hit 2000. A $900m fine wont stop the JP morgans of this world. Gold also has the added pressure from yeilds rising. However the days you start seeing gold rise with yeilds that will be a big sign for bullish gold IMO. I also have a feeling the FED will keep finding excuses not to taper or raise rates.

Yes .. Tests ng of supports whether at 1745's or 1680's have always been quick and incisive with one long downward spike .. I personally feel that 1745 will be retested once again and if it holds then we can see a slow sideways with an upward bias or a retest of 1680 like that big move in August
