Classic move today which played out as outlined which was to run stops on weak longs, stop in more shorties and keep the short bus riders convince they are correct in what they are see, read and hear.  Stops taken out at the 119.14 line  and that line held and I again added to longs at 119.04...https://invst.ly/7q7-b

NO Leon I am not on the short side and the weak hand players just got stopped in to shorties and will not be happy.  This was a classic setup to the 119.14 line and I added to longs at 119.04.  Good luck with your ETN.

We will continue to get rate hikes. Going long is a death trap! It’s not about technical analysis here!

Leon Chen The only ones trapped are you and the other shorties all riding the short buses that believe in what you are told, what you read and what you see.  FunDuhMentals have never worked for a single thing, ever.  Stay on that short bus Leon,

So can someone explain futures pricing vs yield because in Dec 2013/Jan 2014 yield was just over 3% but futures price was 122? Now we're around the same yield but futures is 119? Can someone explain the difference?

While the yield & futures price is inversely correlated, it's not a 1:1 relationship.  The yield will be correlated to bond cash prices (not bond futures prices) as these are 2 different instruments.  The difference in futures price (vs bond cash price) is complicated by the coupon & cost of carry which exists in the bond cash instrument, but not futures, but more complicated, the futures price calculation is adjusted based on "the CTD...cheapest to deliver option' - ie. a futures seller @ maturity will choose the 'cheapest' instrument to deliver as part of the futures agreement; thus, creates will not create a 1 : 1 relationship between Bond futures vs Yield.

Newbie here, Please help! Does anyone understand why the 15M / 5H / 1D / 1W charts will show different price ranges? For example on 14/03/18 it reaches a high of 121.28 on the 1D chart, but if you switch the 5H chart, it does not touch that price within the same period? There are similar discrepancies across all of the charts.

Silverbug 19 Why does that matter?  If the 5H candlesticks are arranged in continuous 5 hour intervals (19:00 - 23:59, 00:00 - 04:59, 05:00-9:59) then should it not touch the same price somewhere in the 5H chart within the same 24 hour period? If you look within the same 24 period on the 5H chart as 14/03/18 on the 1D chart, the 5H chart does not touch 121.28 (yet the 1D chart does)?
