Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Mining, Agriculture and Infrastructure sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Nipress Tbk (JK:NIPS), which rose 23.68% or 90 points to trade at 470 at the close. Meanwhile, Garuda Metalindo Tbk PT (JK:BOLT) added 23.08% or 165 points to end at 880 and Minna Padi Investama Tbk (JK:PADI) was up 22.56% or 74 points to 402 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bumi Citra Permai Tbk (JK:BCIP), which fell 10.00% or 28 points to trade at 252 at the close. Bank Pembangunan Barat Dan Banten (JK:BJBR) declined 9.47% or 230 points to end at 2200 and Dua Putra Utama Makmur PT (JK:DPUM) was down 9.42% or 65 points to 625.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 160 to 135 and 103 ended unchanged.
Shares in Dua Putra Utama Makmur PT (JK:DPUM) fell to all time lows; falling 9.42% or 65 to 625.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.63% or 0.32 to $51.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.39% or 0.21 to hit $54.10 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.01% or 0.15 to trade at $1172.25 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.08% to 13302.0, while AUD/IDR rose 1.06% to 10096.85.
The US Dollar Index was unchanged 0.00% at 101.11.
