Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.89%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 26.93% or 2580.0 points to trade at 12160.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 2.72% or 340.0 points to end at 12840.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was up 1.81% or 1140.0 points to 64140.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which fell 3.85% or 200.0 points to trade at 5000.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 3.19% or 240.0 points to end at 7280.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) was down 3.07% or 290.0 points to 9150.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 23 to 8.
US coffee C for July delivery was down 2.74% or 3.65 to $129.68 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 0.17% or 5.00 to hit $2928.50 , while the June Gold contract fell 0.19% or 2.30 to trade at $1190.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.11% to 2360.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.77% to 775.04.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.13% at 94.20.
