Comment Guidelines

We encourage you to use comments to engage with users, share your perspective and ask questions of authors and each other. However, in order to maintain the high level of discourse we’ve all come to value and expect, please keep the following criteria in mind:

  • Enrich the conversation
  • Stay focused and on track. Only post material that’s relevant to the topic being discussed.
  • Be respectful. Even negative opinions can be framed positively and diplomatically.
  •  Use standard writing style. Include punctuation and upper and lower cases.
  • NOTE: Spam and/or promotional messages and links within a comment will be removed
  • Avoid profanity, slander or personal attacks directed at an author or another user.
  • Don’t Monopolize the Conversation. We appreciate passion and conviction, but we also believe strongly in giving everyone a chance to air their thoughts. SPY if 28 breaks then 34 in the cards.  It would be hard to break 40 today given XLE -3.1%.  I am seeing divergence so don't think we rip higher today; not sure on the low though...could see low teens.

If you can't make most of your money before 11am ET in the ES, NQ, or YM markets you're doing it wrong. Anyway the rest of the day looks like the typical doldrum Friday. If it moves above 2725 I will buy calls that expire today, otherwise I'll be trading other markets.

To Peter: I don't understand your question?  Can you clarify?  00-50 is the current two week range; >28 is bullish intraday and for any swing.
