Review How to Make Money Selling Stocks Short by Wm J Oneill.  XLF is in the perfect setup  to short.  Initial break of top in late January, four rallies above the 50 DMA on lighter volume and final break of 50 150 and 200 dma on huge volume and the overall market is in a correction.  XLF will easily drop to $20.  don't be fooled by the dead cat bounce of  JPM C and WFC earnings this morning.  Market is in a downtrend and XLF is going to crater from here.  although CNBC and Bloomberg EXPERTS thinks and hope financials advance with rising Interest rates.  problem is no one will borrow since accustomed to near zero rates.....so that's the dilemma.

exactly....extended QE of long-term near zero rates has created "new normal". What would usually be a bargain is now seen as expensive...it's all relative

It is the bond market, which drags down the financials. In my view the bond market cannot subsidizes the huge losses in the shale industry anymore.
