He will own more shares after exercising his ESOs than he had before he started selling. He will sell ~17M shares and will exercise ~23M options.

In fairness, I ignore everything fundamentally when I short. Take AAPL and GOOG, I got 160 puts for this week from a few cents below 170 (solid 1200% profit) and GOOG 2800 puts from above 2900 (1600%). Obviously, they have strong fundamentals. Same with TSLA. Got a nice 100 point move on it, still have a quarter of the position left. Stop out will be a break above 1160 area.

Gregg Alvarez But delivery number for Nov would be a catalyst in the near term. Numbers good, good catalyst, number bad, bad catalyst. And I agree, if you are making short term bets in price movement you shouldnt factor in the fundamentals, they are based on what happened the last 12 months with the company.

This Ron Love kid was so confident that JPow was causing short term sell off in Tesla (now he doesn't care about short term lol) and also claimed that virus news is old and omicron is weak and won't cause any more sell offs (now he is trying to defend with opposite arguments: first he said he doesn't remember saying this now he says he was just "mocking" me.) Kid can't stick with one argument. What an illogical piece of garbage. Talks big about investing decisions lol.

Ron Love I’ll be 100% serious now and tell you what I think with zero mocking… Omicron wrecked financial markets on Nov 26th, last Friday. But over that weekend we learned from doctors in South Africa that their patients only had “mild symptoms” (headache, sore throat, fatique) compared to Delta. This news caused markets to rally Monday. Tuesday Powell tanked markets with taper tantrum, said “transitory” should he retired and taper should be more rapid than previous FOMCs. So the big negative catalyst hurting sentiment right now is the Fed, not omicron.

Ron Love Secondly, I consistently tell people that if they want to make a quick buck do not buy Tesla at this price. Someone in here yesterday said this stock was overvalued and I replied something to the effect of “Yes, it is. But if you plan to hold it until 2030 $1000 Tesla shares will look like a typo.” You are clueless man. Me PERSONALLY I hold every stock I buy for extremely long term, so this current price is perfectly fine for me and my personal portfolio, despite it being overvalued currently. In the short term someone buying at this price could lose money, this year the stock dropped into the $500s twice. But over the long term at the hyper-growth rate Tesla is achieving current trailing metrics used to judge value (P/E, P/S, PEG) will be obliterated in 12 months. You get it yet?? Now buzz off.

Leo Mu I know a guy who in the summer of 2020 said a retest of the March crash was imminent so he sold all his 100 Tesla shares at $600 pre-split and said he would buy them all back after the crash. The stock has almost 10X the price he sold at and no market crash.

@Ron Love: Your d*mbas twists every comment for your convenience. Sometimes you claim “I said <literally this>…”. Today when I took it literally now u have more excuses. I just wanted to show you the mirror. Kid so keen on responding to bears he cant get them out of his head. He cant hide his anxiety today “but but but i dont care about selloffs” “i dont buy at these levels” “i lie about short term buys” “i dont understand candlesticks and brokers” “im here daily to encourage others to buy at prices where i wont buy” “i have amillion dollar portfolio” “i am not rich” “i make tons of money by ignoring bears”. Hope all this summarizes your confused d*mbas arguments.

Correct, selloffs are irrelevant to me. I’m a long-term shareholder, never sold a share. Not in Dec 2018, not in March 2020, not in Sept 20, not in February 21 and not in May 21. I’ve seen both -19% and -22% in a single day since 2011. Does not matter in the big picture when you plan to hold until at least 2030. Price fluctuation couldn’t be more irrelevant in the near-term. All your other tripe is nonsense. I was again mocking you about omnicron with those posts today. Do you think I was serious about the virus being dead and back multiple times in the day? 🤣 And lastly, who cares if the trend is down since yesterday, that’s something for you traders to either be giddy OR whine about.

EnRon Love: don't act over smart- I said it never closed below 1122 for 15 minutes around your stated timestamp then how did you buy at 1119 at that timestamp? such a liar, he changed my quote about closing price now- thinks he is some master manipulator. He didn't have a satisfactory reply then but he had hope that he will be able to manipulate as time passes.

also your as needs better excuses. I was asking how did virus come back? You claim you don't remember saying virus can impact tesla but you again started defending that claim indirectly "by saying oh it might be green again so the virus is gone". Manipulating again. The annual production capacity of Shanghai giga factory reached 500,000. When they finishes the expansion, annual production capacity will exceed 1,000,000. If we add California, Texas, and Berlin productions, the total will exceed 2 million.
