It provides customer-specific software and hardware developments for data communication/diagnosis/test systems; on-site customer support; measurement technology and automation systems; and testing, qualifying, and certifying services. Softing AG was formerly known as Softing Industrial Consult GmbH and changed its name to Softing AG in July 1999. The company was founded in 1979 and is headquartered in Haar, Germany.
