My thought of the strike announcement today is that of simple strategy ahead of the pre-scheduled meeting tomorrow.

Also, there's the public relations disaster with the realistic perception of mechanical and decline of flights and choosing Airbus. The company is being run accounts and not by a qualified CEO. The glory days of BOEING are over.

They're struggling to pay interest on debt in the upcoming months. It's not a sign of a healthy company. Even worse, the union strikes. Big layoffs will happen ensue.

If workers leave due to unsatisfied union contract, there will be many new workers ready to take their place.

I say the BOEING workers are foolish demanding 40 percent increases in wages. Take the 25 percent rise and at least have a job. DEPRESSION IS COMING. INEVITABLE. HALF A LOAF IS BETTER THAN NO LOAF AT ALL.

Yes. With the up-and-coming economic situation the workers are not likely to get a new job at a vehicle manufacturer either. Also, there are many other new worker standing in line to take their place if they leave.
