                                • opec is missing quotas across the board. to me that looks increasingly like they are at peak capacity. the 3,5 mio headroom in quota keeps an artificial lid on paper markets (as it has appeared to be intended ever since 2021 monthly 400kbpd increases that were never met). Opec are now saying that we need to invest in production or else we will really hit the roof and all ********breaks loose. Meanwhile US politics are focused on appearance and virtue with little regard for the long term fundamentals. Cutting any and all quota above real capacity to me seems like the responsable thing to do here. I believe OPEC are on the money and history will be grateful if this plays out in favor of realizing the facts about the global energy situ.
