I am thinking we may revisit near the top like 70-73, consolidate there and then the rug will be pulled out. It is really impossible after such a large volume buy, you go directly under. "They" need to distribute their longs.

Saudis and Russians wanted to increase but also needed Iran for OPEC consensus and to hold OPEC together. Russia can only add 200k in time and Iran does not believe it has agreed to allow OPEC members to utilise quotas from members not hitting their full allowances. Bullish?

you forget that opec was overcompliant becauase the greedy IRAQis and a few others stated that they were producing more than they were in the hope of having to cut less.  Now its backfiring

Even if they manage to add 1mbd (& I am skeptical), I am still bullish on prices. Another 500 kbd from Venezuela and nearly 1 mbd from Iran to come off market over next 6-9 months plus very robust demand. Spare capacity will soon become a factor.

The neutral zone produces more than 470,000 barrels of oil per day (Mbbl/d) from onshore and offshore fields. The onshore Al-Wafra Field has a production capacity of about 220 Mbbl/d of Arabian heavy crude, while the offshore Al-Khafji Field produces 250 Mbbl/d.

I also think you're massively overestimating the amount that will come off the market from Iran, experts predict anywhere between 2 0 0 bpd to 1mil bpd. You're choosing the high end to fit your position, imo

SP,  you can read more here on RSI bearish divergence failure > http://thepatternsite.com/DivergenceTest.html From what I understand divergence of any sort is more likely to show a price drop/rise if the divergence started in overbought//oversold territory. Currently with CL weekly bearish divergence started in overbought territory > https://invst.ly/7turv Compare to other overbought times, here > https://invst.ly/7tusw and here > https://invst.ly/7tutg

The rule is very easy. If OPEC does not make prices lower in 2 years time the price of oil will be about 20 dollar. So they have real interest in not pushing prices up today.

Recessions are caused by tightening monetary policies. If oil producers would leave oil prices low, the tightening would be much softer and recessions would happen less frequently

I do not understand. I read news and https://investing.com appears to be blind for number Prince gave on Saturday. They are loosing their credibility. The number was clear. 1 mln barrels. And https://investing.com is stick to the 770 barrels. What a scam.
