Rig Rigr  quite the contrary, crypto is based on some of the most advanced cryptographic security known to man.  Do a little research into NSA development of SHA-256.  If used correctly, cryptos are FAR more secure than any other form of money or investment in existence, period.

You are totally correct. The problem is that 50% or more of people buying Bitcoin now have no idea how it works. If the Fed undermines confidence in Bitcoin or cryptos in general, that 50% will bail in a day.

The more I dig the more I discover how things are really in bad shape but hidden (till now) like a sleeping volcano that is about to wake up and burn everything around it. High debts, deteriorating currency, rising inflation, spiking markets, insane housing prices, increasing taxes, etc. what more signals you need?

U.S. consumer spending jumps 4.2% in March after $1.9 trillion stimulus and $1,400 checks. Incomes surge 21.1%. PCE inflation index rises 0.5% in March and 12-month rate moves up to 2.3% from 1.5%. Fed insists higher inflation just temporary

The Fed does not look like it will have an easy summer communicating its approach to markets. ECI wages and salaries, which follows positions (less compositional skew) jumped 4.0% SAAR in Q1. Core PCE inflation rose 0.4% MoM, +2.6% SAAR over the last three months

Mark Ma  Expectations were: spending  4.1%, PCE 0.3% and 12MO PCE 1.8%. So inflation higher than expected but so was spending. I agree that this is not great. Tough summer ahead, I really hope we wont get that crash. We will see.

I think its going to fall once investors realize the economy is actually still in recovery. The lower interest rate is going to be needed in this way.

statestreet exactly pal, economy is still in recovery mode and fed isn't in right state to raise int rates coz they will need more money to repay those int. rates! so if they do that they need to print more and more money for which they need more and more gold
