Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Agriculture, Consumer Industry and Manufacturing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index fell 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Aneka Tambang Persero Tbk (JK:ANTM), which rose 20.19% or 105 points to trade at 625 at the close. Meanwhile, Indofarma Tbk (JK:INAF) added 12.98% or 57 points to end at 496 and Kobexindo Tractors Tbk (JK:KOBX) was up 11.30% or 13 points to 128 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bank Qnb Indonesia Tbk (JK:BKSW), which fell 10.00% or 34 points to trade at 306 at the close. Lion Metal Works Tbk (JK:LION) declined 10.00% or 90.00 points to end at 810.00 and Lippo Securities Tbk (JK:LPPS) was down 10.00% or 11 points to 99.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 169 to 125 and 101 ended unchanged.
Shares in Indofarma Tbk (JK:INAF) rose to all time highs; up 12.98% or 57 to 496. Shares in Lion Metal Works Tbk (JK:LION) fell to 3-years lows; losing 10.00% or 90.00 to 810.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.42% or 0.16 to $37.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.40% or 0.16 to hit $39.68 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 1.11% or 13.60 to trade at $1237.40 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.05% to 13175.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.58% to 9947.40.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.05% at 94.44.
