Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Agriculture, Consumer Industry and Manufacturing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 0.40%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Eratex Djaja Tbk (JK:ERTX), which rose 25.00% or 195 points to trade at 975 at the close. Meanwhile, Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk (JK:AMFG) added 12.26% or 650 points to end at 5950 and Elnusa Tbk (JK:ELSA) was up 11.76% or 46 points to 437 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Multistrada Arah Sarana Tbk (JK:MASA), which fell 10.00% or 25 points to trade at 225 at the close. Nusantara Inti Corpora Tbk (JK:UNIT) declined 9.76% or 29.00 points to end at 268.00 and Golden Eagle Energy Tbk (JK:SMMT) was down 9.73% or 110 points to 1020.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 165 to 145 and 32 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.86% or 0.85 to $45.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.69% or 0.82 to hit $48.06 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.27% or 3.00 to trade at $1106.30 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.25% to 14315.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.86% to 10039.30.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.01% at 95.56.
