Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Public Services, Services and Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which rose 1.80% or 460.0 points to trade at 25980.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 1.23% or 20.0 points to end at 1645.0 and Grupo Inversiones Suramericana (CN:SIS) was up 0.77% or 280.0 points to 36600.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which fell 3.19% or 400.0 points to trade at 12120.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 1.99% or 65.0 points to end at 3195.0 and Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) was down 1.68% or 380.0 points to 22300.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 19 to 10.
Shares in Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.19% or 400.0 to 12120.0. Shares in Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) fell to all time lows; falling 1.99% or 65.0 to 3195.0.
US coffee C for July delivery was down 1.57% or 2.02 to $126.60 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 0.36% or 11.50 to hit $3210.50 , while the August Gold contract rose 0.39% or 4.60 to trade at $1185.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.47% to 2552.50, while BRL/COP rose 1.52% to 834.45.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.82% at 94.44.
