Political interference at Vale is at stake. The agreement on the Samarco dam, a far lesser environmental impact compared to ie Deepwater Horizon, definitevely killed Samarco a previously “princess company”. It would take about 50 years of profit to pay back, if there is still iron ore left by then. The agreement higher than BP’s in Mexico Gulf and Exxon’s Alaska, opens a precedent for the Brumadinho agreement. There are also rumours of political pressure to envolve Vale in less profitable projects. Not sure how current admin is willing to defend shareholders interests. Vale is out of the race in Simandou’s projects due to corruption approach in the past…

In a week Investiy cut the Value of Vale around 50%. Looks not Logic. or your previous Value was far not reasonable or 7.32now is not Logic.

Political interference at Vale should be closely analysed. Payments of the Samarco DAM accident was outrageous. Despite the environmental impacts, the agreement ended Samarco as it would take around 50 uears of profit to payback (there might not be irin ore by then). The value of the agreement was higher than Deepwater Horizon’s, a far lesser accident impact. It opens up a predecent value for Brumadinjo’s accident. There are also rumours of govt pressuring Vale into non profitable projects.

I am afraid your question is not clear. However, the earnings date is Feb 19 I think, and this is when they are going to disclose how much dividend Vale is going to distribute, and when.

Yılmaz Türk No, if you go to the dividends section you will see that on 12/12/24 a dividend was detached but has not yet been distributed. And not only that, a date has not even been declared yet. Do you understand what I mean now?
