UPlay launcher mandatory even when bought on Steam? Uh, that's an easy noplay for me then.
It is getting interesting to buy. I don't believe that Ubisoft will continue with this woke agenda, especially when they are clearly bleeding right now. Don't forget they have great franchises under their belt (Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Star Wars) and a huge fan base behind those products. With proper change in management, revoking the woke sentiment, creating 2-3 good games, and stopping with dumb statements like 'people don't own their games,' this thing could skyrocket if they finally get things right.

I guess when Ubi said we should get used to not owning the games we buy they forgot to mention we should also feel comfortable not owning their stock. Their products are great more often than not, but their consumer facing practices are pathetic. Time for Ubi to wake up, take a note from Nintendo. Public EU gaming companies became worse than American ones. Should've never gone public.
Funfact: not owning their stock has made me more money then owning their stock and brought me more joy then buying their games, which also makes me money when not done.
