PT Pelita Samudera Shipping Tbk is an Indonesia-based company primarily engaged in providing integrated logistics and shipping, mainly for coal mining companies. The Company provides inter-island coal transportation to various locations of coal-fired power plants and other industries. The Company operates through three segments: Time charter of tugboats and barges, Floating loading facilities and Motor vessels. It has approximately 87 vessels consisting of 39 units of tugboats, 39 barges (one unit of 270-feet, 29 units of 300-feet and nine units of 330-feet size), three units of Floating Loading facility (FLF), and six units of Bulk Carrier Motor Vessel (two units of Supramax and four units of Handysize). The area of operation for tugs, barges and FLF is in Samarinda, Banjarmasin, Sangkulirang, Muara Pantai, Palembang, Paiton and Makassar. Its subsidiary is PT Pelita Global Logistik, which is engaged in sea freight services.
