I read that BMW is investing in carbon fiber material. They say it is lighter (correct) and more rigid-OK.So the question is-what happens with the driver`s safety? If we consider the carbon fiber being more rigid it means less plastic deformations at impact which means higher accelerations acting on the driver`s body at impact.I am also 1000000% sure the future not only in car industry but in industry as a whole is in new materials, but I think carbon is not the right direction rather a transitional stage of development in this field.I would suggest BMW engineers to use more plastic material for the front 0,5-1 m of the car.And please, approve them design, the 7 series looks so ugly in my opinion.
Wrong info.I thought they use carbon fibres everywhere and in fact they use it only in the roof. The front is made of plastic materials so BMW engineers of course know very well what to do and my post is irrelevant and even hilarious.Anyway this doesn`t change the fact that BMW stock is s***.

Well done BMW after such a long period of lows finally for the first time among top gainers with 4,2%.
Hello,BMW fans me again-the biggest BMW fan and stock-holder,and of course loser :)Well today was another devastating day for BMW stocks, like all the rest from the previous 2 months. The interesting thing is that the company announced earnings well above the expectations, but unfortunately this resulted in another -2,30 % :) (again the all mighty Chinese market insecurity).Even in good days we are 2,3% down,no problem. The good things are still to come, since we have the divident payments next week,so another -5% is quite welcome.Enjoy the thrill,my fellow stock holders, because we are going down reeeal quick,I wonder when this terrible slump is going to come to an end,my guess i at 90 euro when all the QE gains have been wiped out.Enjoy!
You can see them in "top losers" almost everyday.Never in the top gainers, not even once.
When it is only -1% a day I am happy, because it is never + it is always -,every day, sometimes -2-3%,this is smth natural.
When DAX is + BMW is -,when DAX is - BMW is big -.Soon the stocks will cost 50 Euro.
This is the sh**iest company on Earth.I hope they went bankrupt.
I can`t because I am not using margins or platforms.I have the physical stocks and am already down so much to be forced to hold it waiting for 115.The worst scenario is to have to hold it for 2 years until it reaches 130-145.It was my mistake buying a company of PEG ratio about 4 (while having Renault of 0,70 in front of my eyes) and now paying the price for overvaluating the sole fact of QE running and expecting record exports. The other mistake was overvaluating BMW`s strength in America and disregarding the major role of the Chinese market which is now going worse.U know Boillinger says :Once in a lifetime u can buy a stock at its highest price and once at its cheapest.Well I must be a phenomenon because I managed to do it from the first time -121,25.BMW is a heavy company if u follow it u will see it moving almost the pace of DAX in good days, but in bad days tanks very heavily.I am afraid they will follow Honda who after the initial hype after the Japan QE gained 30% in a few
months just to realize that it was overpriced and go back to the pre QE levels.I will not sell, even if it goes to 80-90 euro (where it is heading),then I will hold my stocks for 20-30 years when BMW will cost 1000-2000 euro per share then will sell and will tell them to f*** off for messing with my money in 2015 :)
sorry, didn`t mean Honda but Mazda.I think BMW is much better terms of value than Mazda,at least they pay decent divident but as u can see the downtrend didn`t find support even at 103.Anyway I wouldn`t advise you to continue shorting BMW for more than one week ,especially if this turns out to be a real correction in DAX (which should end soon) rather than the end of its uptrend. If DAX is dead BMW will be one of the worst losers no doubt about it-95 will be an easy target.
