  • Very good company. I am surprised valuation is so cheap. BMW sold 2.3mn cars in 2020 of which 193K is EV (+32% y/y). Just to put in perspective Tesla sold slightly less than 500K. Despite a horrible operating environment, 9M20 change in cash was +€ 6bn. BMW offers 13 EV models today and targets 25 in 2023. Reports 4Q20 on 17 March. It’s a premium, high performance, true engineering brand trading at deep discount 13x P/E. Note that, Tesla trades at 1100x or Ford Motor at 110x. Btw, it pays dividend unlike many peers. 12M yield 3.5%.

    • I think bmw is a good co. but badly needs to innovate the design of its automobiles. that ask look the same for the last 20 years. only thing that changes is advancements in the highlights. why would anyone pay $100k for a car that you can buy at a lower grade for $40? come on bmw.
