The price might go up or down with huge or little volume (check float volume stocks). When a stock is bought, the price goes up; when a stock is sold the price goes down. Even if the volume is low, if there are more buyers than sellers the price will go up, and vice versa. It's a basic supply and demand correlation: when there are more buyers (demand) than sellers prices go up. When the offer (sellers) is greater than the buyers, the price is cheaper. Hope this helps to clear your doubt.

For those who understand the swing cycle mechanics, keep an eye on the volume for tomorrow if even if it's a green day. You don't want to be stuck in an uptrend with no volume. Let's see how the volume finishes today with the after hours, if it's lower than yesterday it may be a sign that the uptrend is running out of fuel.

that's what I use too. was just wondering thanks. I have a friend wanting to get started in investing and am trying to figure out a platform to suggest. think tradestation is going to be overly complicated for him. I don't see him investing more than a few hundred a month and likely will be long term holds. I've heard good things from people about robin hood but not people I know well so I'm stumped as what to suggest. he is the guy I mentioned that works for Amazon and gets their stock as part of his compensation package.

I'm still waiting for the experts here to give me their guidance. I've seen No trading advices given. I'm sitting here holding my money trying to figure out what price to buy in at, Gabriel any advices? Anthony? Stuart? Rodrigo is the only person so far to have advised and well at that. I'll check in later. maybe you can predict tomorrow. I know it's exhausting all this bashing. oh, and I never advised to sell at 1500, 1600 or 1700. can easily scroll down to look where Rodrigo asked about that to verify it. as promised I haven't given any advices today. nor will I in the near future unless somebody specifically asks for it, then I will consider it.

I just want your prediction for the next few days. I don't think that's an unreasonable ask considering how vocal you've been on the topic. but if you don't feel confident in giving exact numbers that's understandable. I was just under the impression that you would be more specific with your advices.

But thats ok, i do believe WTI and maggie when they say they are just looking out for others, people have a right to share their best giess opinion, and make no mistake, its all a guess.

When they advocated selling in the 1500's, they lost all credibility. When someone tells you how great they are and how right they are (Maggie claims she's correct  80% of the time-which is a joke), it's time to move on. Buy the dips and hold long term. Hard to find a more compelling company to own.

Look at it this way. You buy a house, have a family, buy a car. You expect that in 20 years you'll be out of debt and ready to retire. That's your projection based on information you have and assuming nobody gets sick, you don't get fired and things move along more less peacefully as they have. If your wife gets sick and you lose your job that's going to change your projection. Now it may take 40 years to get out of debt and retire. That's similar to how stock projections work and analysts adjust their projections as new information becomes available or as existing factors change. So it's possible but it won't happen overnight and this is assuming everything goes as expected in their analysis.

Anthony, Give it a break already. I said it would close under 1700. I didn't specify Friday, It may take till Monday or even possibly Tuesday or Wednesday. 1700 is not yet consistent support so I have to assume it will test 1650 again and it needs to test 1700 as support a few times before it will stay above 1700. I don't see it staying above, Even with an analyst upgrade it won't hold and it's going to continue to crab. The problem is that you're viewing it from open to close vs the overall trend for the last 1-3 months. My stating my opinion based on my analysis is not trolling. People posting things that are only meant to annoy and aggravate in order to spark an angry response is trolling. Nobody has to listen to my opinion, and owning this stock is not a requirement for posting a comment. If that Was The case then I can argue, what right do men have commenting on womens reproductive rights since they don't posses ovaries. your argument defies logic.

I'm just curious, what would you say that there was a stock that went up 500% in 5 years compared to the 355% that Amazon did in 5 years. This same stock moved 120% in 1 year to the 8% that Amazon went up in the last 1 year. And was far less volatile. Which do you think that people would have preferred to own?

I can say I didn't make or lose any money in this stock because there are better stocks to trade right now especially for people who are looking for a long term investment. people are jumping on not realizing the gravy train has already left the station. the only money to be made here is in selling options and day trading. that's just my opinion on it. Everyone can do as they will.
