WTI TraderThe damage in financials is because interest rates wont go up for the remainder of the year if not longer, due to the Fed Reserve. Are you aware how banks and financials make money or would you like me to explain that?

Exactly. And as Amzn pursues endeavors into cloud storage, grocery, and healthcare, it’s taking a defensive position in case of economic downturn.

Maggie TempleWhat is your basis for amazon being forced to break up? Mind you, im asking for facts, not your arbitrary thought as to why they need to be broken up. Or do you not have facts to support this claim?

WTI Trader Not at all, but let's explore why you feel this way. I take it you don't use any of their service offerings or perhaps you're unhappy about some aspect of your Amazon experience? Or could it be you're still sore you missed out on one of the most profitable trades out there? Remember, a dozen years ago, AMZN traded at less than $40.

Depends on your definition of while. CNN Money's projected 12mo LOW is 1850 and we already flirted with 1825 this week.Median 12mo projection is 2100. So I'm going to meet halfway here and call 1925 by end of 2019.

Narissa Murphy Your math is incorrect. Divide the profit by the basis, not by your sales price. If you bought at 1765 and sold at 2100, your return would be 19%, not 16%. If your investment horizon is <= 1 year, you may want to consider more risk averse investments. With the world economies slowing and a looming 2020 election, we're sure to see more market volatility ahead. Longer term (3-5 yrs), I believe AMZN will be hard to beat though. though.

when people stress over the numbers they make mistakes. Take a step back and come back to look at it with fresh eyes and a clear head. I saw your earlier posts. Breath first, research second, think third and don't be worried about missing a trade, focus instead on your next one. If I had a nickel for every missed trade, well they would have added up by now.

is it possible that lady was right and it will see 1700 again? if it did that would be great because I could buy again for less than I sold it at, except I can't do it for 7 more days. I can't day trade. and I don't understand options well enough to attempt to trade them. the margin scares me from trying.

Folks the loss is still flying well above the Nas and Dow index loss% today. And with this, after 3 days of solid gains, you really going to go on a panic spree when you know the high is projected at 2400 in 12 months?
