1240 breakout but resistance at 1250, no price rejection above 1250 yet, so I think it won't come down easily. .If we are lucky enough to see 1243/44 today, I will long from there. Target 1250, 1255. SL for 1h close below 1240...Good luck

US Dollar Index Technical levels:..The dollar index is losing 0.28% at 101.03 and a break below 100.74 (low Feb.20) would open the door to 100.54 (20-day sma) and then 100.40 (low Feb.16). On the flip side, the initial hurdle aligns at 101.72 (high Feb.22) ahead of 101.95 (23.6% Fibo of the November-January up move) and finally 102.96 (low Jan.11.. .. Gold closing above the triangle apex resistance will be long-term bullish..

Speech of Mr Mnuchin about the US economy reforms made the Dollar Index to dip and Gold to soar but we some more data coming in one hour time. If the Initial jobs claims and Housing Price Index were negative then expect a fly in the gold price. Good data will bring back the price to 1230s level. Wait and watch. Best of luck

Guys let's watch price movement step by step. As per the fundamentals of today, Gold price is not going to drop, at least today. Let's plan our trades day by day. All US data reports were weak today. We have Housing Price Index coming in the next few minutes. If HPI was extremely good, then we could see a little drop but the price will continue going higher.

Housing Price Index is 0.4% for the month of December as opposed to 0.7% for the month of November. Expect more drop in Dollar Index and more upside for Gold. Next resistance levels for Gold are 1250 which could be cracked in few minutes and then following resistance is seen at 1261. Best of luck
