the difference between the price from, for example, September, and now farmers do not earn, but only people or companies who bought a contact at that price in, for example, August. the farmer can earn money only if he has not decided to sell the grain and now adds it to the pot. If I can find a moment I will write you how it works. The price now depends practically entirely on deliveries.
remind by how much "Shipments were up"? also compare it's size to average daily trading volume here....
21% over the 4 week average, 1.240 BBbu in sales for 2019/20. You can do your own comparison.
CME says that daily there are "over 200,000" contracts traded in soybeans. 1 contract is 5000 bushels, so daily on average over 1 BILLION bushels are traded... "You can do your own comparison" too!
hllo friends....as I predict fire 🔥🔥🔥 in soyabean....u can see
what about mustard seed in india
This is not a fire, but a price boost ahead of the post-close report. I am curious if anyone here knows what he is investing in. because as I read, most people think that if the sale of soybeans is falling, the price should also drop, which is just like me when I started and I did not know what the grains are about. such a dependence is in the markets for metals, for example, but not here. what matters here is the way the buyer settles the contract.
will banksters pump it to 2008 highs as they did with soybean oil in May contract?
Yes sir and then we’ll get the waterfall you’ve been waiting for.
Soybeans farmers and bulls on here claiming one of the reasons this keeps soaring is due to inflation... WRONG. Prices have come up over 100% in just months--that's right, less than 1 year ago beans were about half this price. Did inflation rise by that much? NO. You as a traitor, ahem, bullish trader bid this up. It ought to be illegal for farmers to trade the same markets they produce products in. Smh.
the whole point of the market is so they can hedge their production. you are suggesting that we remove them and turn it into a purely speculative market while claiming speculation is the problem... weird.
Producers should be barred from trading on the product they produce for 2 reasons: 1) It's NOT speculative--only ever biased trading in their favor (e.g., speculation can be bullish or bearish--farmers would only hold long positions). 2) Inside information. Just as executives of corporations & their families cannot trade on their company's stock at particular times, farmers' have an unfair advantage.
big spec funds are what happened in the last 2 weeks. farmers hedge to minimize risk of rising and falling prices. do you really think 1% of the world, farmers, can move the price that much? most farmers i know dont even hedge. most dont even know you can. yet again, blaming us. want some cheese with that whine?
why stocks are so low??? last year had good crop (good supply), farmers got BILLIONS $$$ from government (to support good supply), all bars & restaurant were closed (less demand), so WHERE DID ALL SOY BEANS DISSAPPEAR??? W?T?F?
You're right, China is hardly buying now, but I can see you don't understand what contact is and what you invest in. The parties to futures transactions (CFDs) settle on the expiry date at the price set in the contract (forward price - they pay as much as they declared in June, regardless of how much soybeans cost). They are not interested in the current share price. China has hardly bought soybeans since June, it bought it before June 2020 for 2021 delivery at the June 2020 price and the price you see here is influenced by shipping, not buying !! because the contact can be settled in 2 ways, in cash or physically! and because they realize CFDs physically, the stocks are dwindling and the price is rising.
what happened leading to low stocks now is a bunch of things. in 2019, the cornbelt flooded. usda wasnt truthful in their reports. its showing it head. last year, china had record flooding that took out most of their cropland. ontop of that, this is speculation, false stockpile numbers were given during trump administration to keep proces low to manipulate people into thinking the trade war was working. china buys from whereever is cheapest. ding dong. we were. in 2018, china has asf. their hog population rebounded faster than anyone could of thought. in 2020, the pandemic hit. what happens when people are depressed....they eat more. all of this is what dwindled the stock piles.
I'm pretty sure that in last 30 years there were years with even lower ending stocks and yet price was not even close to this levels.....
My name-only that these were speculative reports, such as what will happen when sth, and the growth caused uncertainty despite the lack of data that could affect growth.in soybean we have important reports 4 times a year, one is tomorrow, the next on May 12, later the end of June where you know what the acreage is planted and what the weather will be like, and another one in October when you can estimate the harvest and January final report for the previous year.now reports are based on planting data, this year planting is greater than usual despite bad weather in the west of the US. I will quote some old words, "in agriculture nothing is a better medicine for a high price" this year the amount of soybeans will be much greater than in the report, many people have already sold soybeans that have not been planted yet, so they will earn anyway and to realize the contract now has to be planted more just in case (bad weather) and that will be the reason for the surplus and fall in prices.
"in agriculture nothing is a better medicine for a high price than a high price"
great
Most guys haven’t presold a bunch of grain, they have the bin space and don’t want a repeat of last year. Look at the carry out and expected movements, on farm stocks are at the lowest they’ve been since 1990. The guy that sold most of his beans under $12 isn’t going to give that last 5% up cheap.
We have a very important report tomorrow after the market close for the current soybean price, buying soybeans now could end up at a great loss. such information is provided after the stock exchange is closed for a reason. it is done in such a way that we cannot react, and at the opening on Monday there will be a gap and probably downwards because such are the rumors. I have already written that buying at such a price with such a high risk of a price drop when we cannot react, may end up with a great loss, because we will not see such a price this year with a negative report. if someone wants to buy, I would wait until Monday when we know the content of the report. I'm already here a bit and there are often gaps after the reports and almost always in decline.
in the end of march after report it went up and went up HUGE!
Jump on the train. We’re going green very soon.
do not persuade people to buy with such a risk as you have no idea what is going on, the number of people investing here will not increase the price. we are here to help ourselves and not to look for people who, by buying or selling, could influence the price and raise the value of your long positions, even if we all bet here, we will not be able to influence the price, because we are speculating and not buying contracts.
Narrow range today. Where are the fireworks?
u will see tomorrow ...I hope fire 🔥🔥🔥 in soyabean 30 april
I can see that some people are persuading to buy, and others to sell. And the truth is that those who reasonably put up for sale with a financial reserve of up to 1,800, will sooner or later earn, because a drop to around 1,200 this year is a matter of time, but those who buy can also profit, IF the soybean grows, but if it no longer grows or drops, such a value may not be seen even for several years. so profit is almost certain when selling reasonably, and 50/50 when buying. And I leave the decision to take the risk to you.
Nothing is certain. But def dont leverage this market right now. Play the daily trends. Make your money and get out of the way.
it wont drop to 1200 this year. theres still too many exports and consuming it domestically. carryout number will contine to drop.

Dead cat bounce?

Lets go boys. To the MOON
Most of the commodities are over brought & to much high price..Anytime big correction..
time to buy ....don't miss
Check the jet stream projection before you try long soybeans. I'm short lumber, especially plywood after buying three sawmills.
wow, short lumber, you are a braveheart !!
I add a short position, such a high amount will not last for a long time. On the last working day of April, data related to soybean and corn planting are published. and this is Friday. This is one of 4 times a year for soybeans when there can be a change of direction. another such moment is in the first week of May, the end of June and October. so anything could happen in the next week.
yes, this is FAKE PUMP before huge DUMP!
I also think that this jump will end in drops, but I will not be surprised if it jumps again. according to my bank's statistics, the ratio of buyers to sellers was reversed since yesterday. ~ 70% sell / 30% buy in monday. today ~ 45% sell / 55% buy. and the volume is the same, i.e. simply the sell position, the capital ran out and is taken over by the bank
FAKIN BANKSTERS!!!! bank - is crime against humanity!
Insane movements. We may be getting a little toppy right now. A small correction will be necessary to keep this bull alove. Waiting for a pullback and then im getting long again until we get to $17-$17.50. Lets go boys. Yee Haw
NO! it'll crash
extremely OVERBOUGHT! sell with SL

the stock exchange is not for ordinary citizens to earn money, but to obtain additional funds from the market (from citizens) for banks. And if someone is lucky, he can earn. Unlike maize, soybeans have no advantages to growing further. What is happening now is sometimes called cutting out people who have short positions (it is also done with long positions). If the right amount of people will be cut, the decline will come, not sooner. he won't be surprised if we see 17-18 before the announcement of the sowing in June.
This isn’t a short squeeze
now CRASH!
T-2 minutes until blastoff 2.0. YOLO. Lets gooooo
Oh my word... I'm ruined! I demand an investigation! Get those traders back in there! Turn those machines back on! TURN THOSE MACHINES BACK ON!! Beaks! Beaks! Where in the he** is Beaks?!
