I just purchased a small package of Nestle mini chocolate chips from Walmart and it cost me over $5 before tax, because of the bulls here. When I first started trading cocoa futures in 2000, there were times when it was priced more like 800, not 3100. This is long overdue for a serious correction.

Sugar will soon fall. It can go up to 28-30. But not for sure. In the stores in Poland threre is a massive sellout. Sugar is cheaper 50% than before panic.

FYI-For What its Worth! My Analysis. My 40yr Seasonal Chart shows a convergence of Bullish / Bearish / AVG in May, with a Breakout afterwards of either Bull or Bear. If Bullish - Up to 1st Wk July, PullBack to 1st Wk Aug, then Up to End Nov; if Bearish down to mid June, Pop in July, then Down to mid Nov. First Wk May, Weekly Chart, made Big Reversal from High of 3221 (I had Price Count of 3208) to a Low of 2857. On the July Dly Chart was a Bull Flag projecting a TRGT of 3086. Will it make it? Possibly, but we have a 5 Mth Divergence on Wkly, and MACD-Div on July. I have Cycle Date on 5/26 and Gann Fan Crosing on 6/9. Get Ready!

Gene Var I wasn't referring to July. That High was week of 21 April (3rd week), that shows on the Weekly Chart. And yes it was May as  FND was 4/24.

Food for Thought: I have a Chart of the Day from my Broker, showing "July Cocoa is extending its rally into new Highs which IF sustained projects a possible (low percentage) run to a 4th upside Target of 3473. It is now above the 3rd Price Count of 2823. Hence my reasoning for a possible surge but don't believe it is sustainable for reasons outlined below.

Mix problem look like hard to reach below 2800 as the world pacing food crisis due to unstable weather. High price pertilizer, disease are big problems for farmers, otherwise factory also hard to survive as the high price raw material and low demand for end product

July contract, IF my Trailing Stop of 2922 Holds, we may see another up surge! Friday was a Reversal Hammer Candle ... meaning a Big Revesal coming probably this week. Weekly HHi 3226, I have a Weekly Cycle Line on 5/26. I'm watching closely for another Short Position. COT Net Short.
