Brent Oil Futures Discussions

There might be a bounce in a couple of minutes?
pumpers in 1.5 hours?
It’s just intuition but a pump is never far away. Perhaps I’m just mentally scarred as a bear. Natgas is having a storming day for the bulls, as Max pointed out. Not sure there’s any direct oil and gas trading correlation at this stage?
Just closed my friday shorts from av 83.47 at 83.18
Bought a gambler’s LP83.28, trading is fun. Still hold eleven SPs
how, you mean you liquidated a short?
he can have longs and shorts activated at same time
Fresh money. Trying not to be overly committed in one direction
NatGas seems to be enjoying itself for now
Exited remaining shorts at 83.34, now We wait for us
Russion  will cut to  export to brent  as 6 month, notified  next week,so that,Brent costs  effect to UP.
news of opec cuts doesnt seem to convince anybody in EU
could be the fact EU is silently struggling with inflation. traders are cautios. US so far has been the biggest market. Right now, the volume is low. Eyes on us Election and finalisation of ceasefire deal. Also its NFP week. 😅
Great points KX. Max, I think it’s limbering up to US waiting for ignition
stopped at lp entry. now i will wait for US trade Session
Some posters have claimed that the ceasefire is already priced in, and that prices were even higher before the Middle Eastern incursions, but this misses the point. The market and media narrative are itching to pounce upon that catalyst, as there is nothing else to talk about until the elections! It ‘justifies’ the trading. Interesting how the Asian session was not impressed by OPEC’s cuts?
when everything is priced in....nothing is.
on the positive side for consumers. opec cutting for a second time means, they ate desperately trying to keep the price from falling in the 70's. The supplier market is saturated and non opec keeps they production levels high, including the high us pump. One thing I think is certain is high volatility both ways in the coming weeks. What do you think?
That’s right. OPEC’s purported mission is to balance markets, provide price stability and coordination. Going back in history, the reason for OPEC’s existence and its ‘plus’ alliance, is to counter the West’s dominance, control and distortion of prices. It is no surprise the EiA and the cartel’s demand growth projections are so divergent.
This is pure gambling at this stage. Anyone who claims they know the direction is just guessing. In my distorted world view, the OPEC manipulators, aided by greedy US institutions, will push this higher, perhaps for a few days until slamming it in reverse…this is a completely guess
of course it is, especially for oil as its controlled by different countrys and institutions. just try on the right side of the game.
You have the courage to say we Are gamblers when you Are the perfect example
Morning Stephen, you’re right of course! I can afford to fully lose my oil money but would prefer not to! I meant gambling in the sense of it being 50/50, rather than being able to try to work risk with probabilities. I much prefer your trading methods to mine, as we’ve talked about before, where I repeat the mistake of trading too frequently in too short a time period. Good luck with your trades
Bullish as hell today.i have shorted till friyday, but now the market Situation is changed. should see at least fridays high at 84.44
How do you trade this oil things?? Can you help?
Several countries extend oil cuts to boost prices
Russian invaders' oil pipeline destroyed in Feodosiia, Crimea
Next down and down....so sell
it will go back to 81,50 -82,50 range and stay there for long time
Morning. Friday was good trading day for both brent and gold. Continue with LP from friday 83.60. Geopolitical situation headline from Zerohedge ” Israel Opts Out Of Gaza Talks In Cairo, Contradicting Prior White House Optimism”.
90+ This time
thoughts
opec cuts already priced in, what about ceasefire? should fall but maybe it will test the previous high first...
i cant find the cease fire news
I'm hoping for it. Hamas oficial have said that they are ready for it. The ball is in Israels Court now. However, they wanted a full list of captive names and still haven't gotten one. They should stop as Ramadan is a holy celebration, and I'd israel continues it might escalate to a religios war, this will escalate tension between all the Arab countries in the region. This is why I'm praying there will be a ceasefire. I hope I answered you question.
yemen wont allow UK and US through until Israel back of completely ... temporarily cease fire won't be enough
OPEC+ agreed to extend current supply curbs to the middle of the year to avert a surplus, BBG reports. The output reductions amount to roughly 2 million barrels a day on paper. The 22-nation bloc is led by Saudi Arabia and Russia.
