It was a pretty good day on Wall Street on Tuesday. It exploded in the first thirty minutes, and then drifted back down the rest of the session, but closed with positive gains. A lot of stocks we follow did well, so let’s take a look at some of them.
Conatus Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:CNAT) was up 1.68, or 38%, to 6.11, on 23 million shares traded on Tuesday. It certainly broke a falling wedge and exploded, and looks like it’s headed higher. I like the way this stock looks. It has a target of 6 3/4-7, which could be had on Wednesday, and then 8-8 1/4 going forward.
LSB Industries Inc. (NYSE:LXU), one of our swing trades, broke out of a wedge on Tuesday and popped 88 cents, or 11%, to 9.08, on 426,309 shares traded. This is the best volume in about three sessions. I’m looking for it to test the 10-dollar range very short-term, and then it may get up to 11.00 at the top of the channel.
NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) is doing great, spiking another 7.54, or 6.87%, to 117.32, on 29.3 million shares traded on Tuesday, and reaching a new all-time high at 117.36. It looks like it has the energy to get up to the 135-40 range.
Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc. (NYSE:POT) snapped back from support on Tuesday, up 61 cents, or 3.39%, to 18.63, on 3.8 million shares traded. It needs to get up past 19 1/4 to get up to 20, and then 21.
