Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Transport, Basic Metals and Leasing & Factoring sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 added 1.49% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Koza Madencilik (IS:KOZAA), which rose 6.48% or 0.140 points to trade at 2.300 at the close. Meanwhile, Turk Hava Yollari (IS:THYAO) added 4.41% or 0.250 points to end at 5.920 and T.S.K.B. (IS:TSKB) was up 4.05% or 0.060 points to 1.540 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ihlas Holding (IS:IHLAS), which fell 2.27% or 0.010 points to trade at 0.430 at the close. Gsd Holding (IS:GSDHO) declined 1.67% or 0.010 points to end at 0.590 and AK Enerji (IS:AKENR) was down 1.14% or 0.010 points to 0.870.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 258 to 82 and 66 ended unchanged.
Shares in T.S.K.B. (IS:TSKB) rose to 52-week highs; rising 4.05% or 0.060 to 1.540.
Gold Futures for June delivery was down 1.05% or 13.53 to $1275.57 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June fell 0.81% or 0.40 to hit $49.22 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract fell 0.65% or 0.34 to trade at $52.10 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 1.71% to 3.5770, while EUR/TRY fell 0.75% to 3.8809.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.60% at 99.06.
