Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Wood, Paper & Printing, Food & Beverages and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 rose 0.54%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Banvit Bandirma Vitaminli Yem Sanayi AS (IS:BANVT), which rose 17.99% or 4.300 points to trade at 28.200 at the close. Meanwhile, Bagfas Bandirma Gubre Fabrikalari AS (IS:BAGFS) added 6.53% or 0.65 points to end at 10.61 and Ipek Dogal Enerji Kaynaklari Arastirma ve Uretim AS (IS:IPEKE) was up 4.93% or 0.300 points to 6.390 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cemtas Celik Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:CEMTS), which fell 2.46% or 0.110 points to trade at 4.360 at the close. Tekfen Holding AS (IS:TKFEN) declined 2.08% or 0.27 points to end at 12.69 and Galatasaray Sportif Sinai ve Ticari Yatirimlar AS (IS:GSRAY) was down 1.44% or 0.12 points to 8.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 251 to 107 and 44 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.36% or 4.57 to $1276.37 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.22% or 0.12 to hit $54.02 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 0.12% or 0.07 to trade at $60.20 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.25% to 3.7781, while EUR/TRY fell 0.12% to 4.3932.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 94.53.
