Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Industry, Trade and Property sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 0.77%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (JK:SRIL), which rose 14.73% or 47 points to trade at 366 at the close. Meanwhile, Sorini Agro Asia Corporindo (JK:SOBI) added 13.64% or 300 points to end at 2500 and Golden Eagle Energy Tbk (JK:SMMT) was up 10.09% or 165 points to 1800 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nusantara Inti Corpora Tbk (JK:UNIT), which fell 14.14% or 43.00 points to trade at 261.00 at the close. Capitalinc Investment Tbk (JK:MTFN) declined 11.11% or 8 points to end at 64 and Smart Tbk (JK:SMAR) was down 9.41% or 470 points to 4525.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 179 to 141 and 50 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.65% or 0.37 to $56.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.71% or 0.44 to hit $61.63 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.35% or 4.10 to trade at $1167.60 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.31% to 13331.0, while AUD/IDR fell 1.81% to 10006.05.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.20% at 96.09.
