Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.69%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 2.66% or 230.0 points to trade at 8870.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 2.53% or 35.0 points to end at 1420.0 and Grupo Aval Acciones Y Valores Pf (CN:GAA_p) was up 0.87% or 10.0 points to 1165.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1), which fell 3.07% or 820.0 points to trade at 25860.0 at the close. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) declined 2.98% or 740.0 points to end at 24080.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) was down 1.35% or 160.0 points to 11700.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 18 to 9 and 2 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.29% or 0.35 to $121.53 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 1.52% or 45.00 to hit $2920.50 , while the June Gold contract fell 0.39% or 4.85 to trade at $1224.35 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.11% to 3060.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.71% to 851.92.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.21% at 95.39.
