Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Public Services and Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 3.98% or 240.0 points to trade at 6270.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 1.31% or 25.0 points to end at 1930.0 and Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) was up 1.10% or 380.0 points to 34900.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cemargos (CN:CCB), which fell 2.58% or 240.0 points to trade at 9050.0 at the close. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) declined 2.48% or 660.0 points to end at 26000.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was down 1.86% or 520.0 points to 27380.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 16 to 11 and 3 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for July delivery was down 5.16% or 7.03 to $129.05 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 1.17% or 36.50 to hit $3164.00 , while the June Gold contract fell 0.23% or 2.80 to trade at $1205.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.20% to 2492.50, while BRL/COP fell 1.16% to 818.64.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.21% at 95.45.
