Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.85%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 1.21% or 30.0 points to trade at 2515.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 1.18% or 110.0 points to end at 9410.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was up 1.03% or 120.0 points to 11760.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cemargos (CN:CCB), which fell 3.04% or 360.0 points to trade at 11500.0 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) declined 2.58% or 120.0 points to end at 4530.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was down 2.56% or 400.0 points to 15240.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 21 to 8 and 2 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 1.60% or 2.02 to $124.28 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 0.78% or 15.00 to hit $1916.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 2.63 to trade at $1244.07 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.87% to 3032.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.43% to 910.18.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 97.43.
