Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Investment, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.87%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 4.55% or 270.0 points to trade at 6200.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) added 2.68% or 440.0 points to end at 16880.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was up 2.49% or 420.0 points to 17260.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which fell 1.37% or 60.0 points to trade at 4315.0 at the close. Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) declined 1.13% or 90.0 points to end at 7890.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was down 0.67% or 420.0 points to 62100.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 19 to 10.
Shares in Celsia SA (CN:CEL) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.37% or 60.0 to 4315.0.
US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.68% or 0.93 to $134.32 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 0.21% or 6.50 to hit $3103.50 , while the August Gold contract fell 0.34% or 4.00 to trade at $1171.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.10% to 2622.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.81% to 832.38.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.90% at 96.36.
