Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Public Services, Investment and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which rose 1.65% or 30.0 points to trade at 1845.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB) added 1.49% or 25.0 points to end at 1705.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was up 1.14% or 260.0 points to 23040.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which fell 3.66% or 440.0 points to trade at 11580.0 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 3.31% or 0.6 points to end at 17.5 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was down 2.40% or 150.0 points to 6100.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 15 to 14 and 2 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for July delivery was up 0.75% or 1.02 to $137.12 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 0.59% or 18.50 to hit $3094.50 , while the August Gold contract rose 0.20% or 2.30 to trade at $1175.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 2.03% to 2557.00, while BRL/COP fell 1.66% to 824.07.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.05% at 95.17.
