    • Now tsla nearing top of larger range and primary resistance at ~883 level (+/-10 or so). I consider closing some gold long to take out a bigger short. Overbought on all timeframes, but still room ro go up some. Volume is low while going up and longer term in falling trend = this is not a new rally, rather a phony move.

        • I respect Enron Musk. He is the greatest pump and dump scammer to ever live. I hope he gets the Chinese and Cathie Woods gang to pump this bubble one last time so we can get a blowoff top

          • Why does Elon Musk do all the funny businesses? For fun? For money? For changing the world?

        • I dont think anything matters. Burrys options must be expiring he thought its best to not go further. When people are willing to pay 495$ for every dollar the company earns then there is no point of going against it. How can you even compete with the richest man on the planet. He is undoubtedly the smartest entrapreneur in our times. I think better stay at the side then to think the stock will drop. Its also too expensive now in my opinion. It looks wont drop now yet, maybe in a year maybe 2, maybe never. Inflation, interest rate hike, fed tapering i am not sure how much will it impact Tesla. Looks to me not much because people are ready to bet everything for Tesla. Its not a regular stock, its a cult now

          • Bobo Müller I agree, look but everyone is giving him higher price valuation sometimes 900 others 1100. Cathiewood stance seems to be right, if people like her continue to buy and the general public is fan of him how can one compete. It may go to 1000 dollars or even more. Look he gives one signal and bitcoin jumps from 30 to 45k. just a signal he likes it. Ok there is lot of talk about tether printing usdt but the general public is massively buying it too. How can u compete when there is trillions of dollars in economy and the money is so cheap

          • The price is what the market decides, if people were rationnal, the market wouldbe efficient, and nobody would make money. Since a lot of people do make money, it might not be efficient at all.

        • Pure theoretical: If Tesla continues to have such a profit per quartal and we assume that Tesla will scale up to the size of GM (revenue) while holding their profit margin. In this case Tesla would be more profitable by less than 14% if we look just at the last quartal. If we look at GMs previous quartal and compare it to Teslas last one Tesla would still be 2,4% more profitable. But things that I didn't consider here on purpose just because is that GM is taxed the 7-10fold of Tesla. That means GM could be more profitable if for example they start to cut taxes just like Tesla does. Another thing I didn't consider of course is that GM is suffering way harder because of the chip crisis. All this fuss about Teslas superiority in profitability is nothing but a dream. They might be profitable now and I hope they will stay profitable, but it is not the case that they are superior if you look at GM. I could do the same with Tesla vs Toyota, but it should be clear that Toyota would be the clear winner. That said, it is stupid to value Tesla almost 10x more than GM because of something like that

          • Admitting that this is and will be a cult. Wow

          • Bobo MüllerExplain why the chip shortage is hurting GM more than Tesla. For the record, EVs have 3x-5x more chips per vehichle than ICE cars/trucks do.
            0
          • Ron Lovebecause they underestimated the shortage by magnitudes and made the mistake of taking back orders when corona came. Something Tesla did way better

          • According to Handelsblatt sources the VW CEO Diess included Elon Musk at VW's executive summit last week Musk explained what's behind Tesla's high productivity - and dispelled concerns about e-mobility. Elon showing he is not the enemy but a friend. Unprecedented in the industry, and Herbert Diess has also thanked Elon for inviting him to tour Giga Grünheide. Boss move right there.

            • Tesla is a fraud I've been going over the Tesla Motor Vehicle Purchase Agreements one by one and half the people they say bought a Tesla have been made up, its like a bunch of ghost vehicles, these people don't even exist. This doesn't mean its going to crash but this is not good. Elon has a really bright future if he can stay out of jail past next week. Anyway I got to go it was a good week despite the Tesla run up all I can do is wait on this one. Cheers good trading.

            • This reminds me of 2019, my entry was $200 pre split and down by short squeeze for months, not buying more is what annoyed me, but all the waiting & confidence pay off well, HODL till 2030.
              0
              • yeah I bought what I thought was a lot in 2017, 2019 was down 35% did some research seeing if I made a mistake and came to the no it's a much better investment than when I bought. my mistake was I could have doubled down then but didn't, instead put more in at 350 instead of 40 😟

              • Depend...if you're a trader wait for pullback, if your long term investor this is still cheap for this decade price.
                1
              • If history is an indicator we will get 3%-5% pullback the two days after earnings. It could run up to $900 before the 20th though and pull back to where it is now, so it’s up to you. If you are a long-term holder then just buy it and forget about it. My EOY price target for 2022 is $1250

              • Elon about to cash in big time in near future. Hes sold almost nothing while the brother has sold on 2 occasions - the last brother sell was 857 if i recall correctly. Now its elons turn to cash out the massive jackpot. Stepping down first will be too hurtfull for stock price so you wont see that move first.

                • 🙄 Ah here we go, is this the setup for the FUD over when Elon has to exercise his options that expire in Q4? or let them expire worthless? I hope the bears come up with something original though, should be good for a laugh still.

                  • make it 9 weeks for tesla stock up and 10 days of green.. stock is performing well for investors...I don't play options so I don't know about day traders or option players.... stock was upgraded at Jeffrey's from$850 to $950 of price target... everything is going well so far but if you are a long investors like me you should know how this stock behaves don't get me wrong but Tesla stock lately missing a pullback..it can come after earning or before that... but please keep in mind don't be afraid of that volatility..any pull back is buying or adding more stocks to your portfolio....market is in uptrend so we might not see a pullback for while... enjoy bear hunt
