Bears don't like Tesla EVs and FSD. They don't believe the delivery data posted by Tesla. The fact is that Tesla builds gigafactories for growth.

Car manufacturers have a great tendency to suffer in the stock market, because of the high input costs, competition and ultra low margins with all of the middlemen who want a piece of the pie. Tesla stock is no different, and it's peaking at a point in history where the political madhouse is likely to depopulate and make a lot of people terminally ill and unable to travel - something the greenies have been crying for, for a long time. And on top of that, EV's don't need much maintenance, so that income won't be there, AND repeat business will be a problem if the cars last so long. Gone are the golden years for the automotive industry in America with the Ford's and GM's. The market is shrinking rapidly but nobody is allowed to point that out yet.

Tyler, I think it's because it's down 9 cents after hours. This person gets really happy with a few cents move on stocks worth a few hundred bucks. He was so excited when MSFT went down 40 cents a couple weeks ago, then claimed that 40-cent move meant it was going to 270 by the end of this month. Maybe it will, but statistics isn't his friend. In fairness to him though, MSFT did luckily go to 290 a few days later, so maybe he's on to something. A few cents of movement at or after close, means it's going down 5% within the next week. He's also obsessed with men's but, tcheeks, so tread carefully if that's not your style.

It would make sense for Tesla to head to 800 soon, the next big resistance, assuming it flies past this resistance. Just remember that this 780 area was resistance. I wouldn't be surprised if it takes a little bit. But the trend is stronger, the RSI is higher, MACD has been above 0 for a while, weekly is engulfing, more volume on the green days then red days (unlike last time), etc... Really the only things of very slight concern are unexpected bad news, another market downturn, interest rates increase sharply, Stochastics are a bit overbought, and the fact this is an area of resistance. I'm still in the swing trade though and none of this concerns me. I have a good entry anyway with a written 650 put from late August and 721 and change for long shares, still holding a third of the position.

p/e is bad since some growth companies are not trying to profit because thats a way to avoid paying taxes so they can invest more into growth... you need to look at market potential, growth, margins, not what the company is doing now but what those cash flows are in the future.

TLDR for my previous comment for the guy comparing this to TAL: TAL has consistently lower highs and lower lows. TSLA broke that lower high and lower low trend in May when it made that higher low. Yes, it may fall to 500 or 600 or 700 Monday pre-market for whatever reason, but statistics says there will be a higher high soon. My guess is we might retest that short term 760 level as support within the next few weeks, but we might make that longer term higher high sooner than that.

Who's that guy pretending TAL and TSLA are the same thing? Was that person not happy with a 40% drop? Let's look at the charts though. TAL peaked at 90 for a double top, lost it to 50, recovered a solid 30%-ish to RSI above 50, was then sold to retest that 50 level and went through it easily on increasing volume and just kept going with smaller and smaller bounces. Let's look at TSLA. peaked at 900, tried the next couple days again, failed and sold before 800, was bought back for several failed attempts to 900, sold off, lost that 800 support easily to 550-ish, was quickly bought back up to test 700, failed then went to 600 for support, buyers won and it came back again to the 780 area, Was quickly sold back after RSI was above 50, went back to that 550 area on lower volume for a double bottom and higher low, from then on it's been higher highs and higher lows.
